Job summary

Reeson Education is assisting a forward-thinking primary school near Braintree to recruit an Intervention Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted academic support across Upper KS2. The role suits someone who enjoys structured small-group work and tracking pupil progress.

You will work with pupils needing extra help in reading comprehension, writing structure and maths fluency. Interventions are planned and reviewed with the SENCo and phase leader, with clear objectives and regular progress

Qualifications

• Experience delivering academic interventions in KS2.
• Confident supporting Maths and English learning objectives.
• Assess progress and adapt sessions accordingly.
• Communicates clearly with teaching staff and SEN support teams.
• Organised, patient, and confident leading small groups.

Responsibilities
