Job summary

Harlescott Junior School, part of Severn Bridges MAT, is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 2 pupils. The role is 28.45 hours per week, term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:40am–3:10pm, with pay £13.26–£13.47 per hour depending on experience.

The successful candidate will work with class teachers and the SEND team to support learning, wellbeing and pupil development, delivering targeted interventions and contributing to an inclusive, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in a school setting.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and pupil wellbeing.
• Flexible, patient, and proactive in supporting learning.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Holds a Level 2 qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning, emotional wellbeing and social development.
• Deliver targeted interventions and assist with classroom activities.
