Job summary

The Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust invites applications for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant at Harlescott Junior School to support Key Stage 2 learners and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

This post is 28.45 hours per week, term-time only, with ASAP start. DBS clearance and other safeguarding checks will be completed; visits to the school are possible on 10 September, with interviews on 30 September.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children in a school setting.
• Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice and pupil wellbeing.
• Is flexible, patient, and proactive in supporting learning.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Holds a relevant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
• Help deliver targeted interventions and assist with classroom activities.
• Contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment.
