St Paul’s CofE Primary School is seeking a caring, nurturing member of staff to support children’s learning in the classroom and at lunchtime. The role is term-time only, 17 hours per week, across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8.30am to 3.10pm.

The successful applicant will join a supportive team, receive bespoke training, and help maintain the school’s Christian ethos. Experience with social communication needs or ASD is desirable but not essential.

Job description

St Paul’s Primary School is looking for a caring, nurturing member of staff, who is committed to supporting children's learning both in the classroom and at lunchtime.

Although some understanding of social communication needs and/or ASD would be desirable, bespoke training will be provided for the right candidate.
You should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, be an effective team member and be prepared to use your own initiative.
The working hours are 3 days per week, from 8.30am until 3.10pm, Monday , Wednesday and Friday (17 hours 15 minutes per week) term time only.

The full time salary scale for the post is £23,857.00 (pay rise pending) and the pro-rata salary will be £10,010.00
The successful candidate will:

Successful applicants must be able to support the distinctive Christian ethos of the school but do not have to be a practising Christian.
