Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified tutors based in the Chester-Le-Street area to provide 1:1 and small group tuition in English and Maths for KS2-KS4 students in Peterlee. The role involves supporting learners with SEN/SEMH and helping them re-engage with learning.

Roles are temporary with flexible hours, offering up to 30 GBP per hour. Start date is October 2026 and both part-time and full-time options are available depending on availability.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS or HLTA qualifications required.
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school.
• Right to Work in the UK and enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group tuition in English and Maths.
• Support students with SEN and SEMH needs and help reintegrate into school.
