Job summary

Prospero Teaching are partnering with Local Councils, SEN teams and Schools across the UK to provide SEN Tutors in the Newcastle area. We are seeking one-to-one or small group tutors with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the North Durham/Chester le Street area.

The role involves creating, planning and delivering personalised 1:1 lessons during school hours, with options for part- or full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SEN tuition and planning personalised lessons.
• Ability to monitor progress and provide feedback to families.
• Comfort delivering 1:1 or small group tuition for SEN students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition for SEN students.
• Develop personalised lesson plans addressing learning gaps.
• Monitor progress and provide weekly reports to families.
• Create supportive learning environment and build student confidence.
• Complete daily attendance and weekly reports.
