Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a KS2 Intervention Teaching Assistant for a 2-form entry school in Erdington, Aston/Witton area, to start asap until at least end May 2027.

The post requires strong numeracy and literacy skills, ability to identify gaps in learning, support lower-ability pupils, and work with a set timetable for targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to recognise learning gaps and tailor interventions.
• Experience supporting lower-ability pupils (intervention setting).

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted KS2 intervention sessions to identified pupils.
• Work within a set timetable and small group/1:1 formats.
• Collaborate with teachers to support pupil progress.

KS2 Intervention teaching Assistant

Erdington

A 2 form entry school in Aston/Witton are looking for a Key Stage 2 specialist for an intervention position commencing asap until at least the end o May 2027.

The suitable candidate will have excellent numeracy and literacy skills and have the ability to recognise the gaps in learning and accommodate each individual child. The teacher will have a set timetable with specific children. The position is working with lower ability children who require additional support.

We also offer a referral bonus of up to 250 for recommendations of candidates suitable for any of the roles we are recruiting for.
