Job summary

Binley Woods Primary School invites applications for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in November 2026. The postholder will cover KS2 PPA release and support staff in a calm, purposeful environment.

Visits are welcomed; closing date is 1st October 2026. Enhanced Disclosure checks will be undertaken in line with safeguarding requirements. Shortlisting and interviews will follow in early October.

Qualifications

• Qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA.
• Experience of working in KS2 and covering PPA release.
• Willingness to obtain HLTA qualification if not held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, engaging lessons.
• Demonstrate effective behaviour management in class.
• Directly support staff in the classroom.
• Cover teacher PPA release across KS2.
