Job summary

Binley Woods Primary School invites applications for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in November 2026. The postholder will cover KS2 PPA release and support staff in a calm, purposeful environment.

Visits are welcomed; closing date is 1st October 2026. Enhanced Disclosure checks will be undertaken in line with safeguarding requirements. Shortlisting and interviews will follow in early October.

Qualifications

• Qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA.
• Experience of working in KS2 and covering PPA release.
• Willingness to obtain HLTA qualification if not held.

Binley Woods Primary School, Governors wish to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in November 2026. The postholder will cover teacher PPA release across KS2 and should have experience of working in KS2.

We are looking for a HLTA who can:

• deliver high quality and engaging lessons
• demonstrate effective behaviour management
• directly support staff in the classroom
• Has the HLTA qualification or a willingness to obtain this
