Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking a combined HLTA and Teaching Assistant to support learning in a primary school. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching support across KS1 or KS2, drawing on HLTA expertise and TA experience to assist teachers and pupils.

You will contribute to an inclusive, safe learning environment, build strong relationships with staff, and be flexible in covering PPA and release time.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised HLTA qualification alongside proven TA experience in a primary school.
• Enhance and develop interaction, communication, and educational needs of all pupils.
• Confidently cover PPA and release time across all year groups.
• Promote inclusion and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Excellent communication and strong relationships with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of excellent teaching and learning in KS1 or KS2.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance pupils' learning experiences.
• Provide high-quality classroom cover and manage short-term absence cover.
• Support inclusion and uphold the school ethos.
