Job summary

Athelstan CP School in Sherburn in Elmet is seeking a highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The post is 12.5 hours per week, term-time only, working across Key Stage Two to provide PPA cover in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The successful candidate should have HLTA status (or working towards it), a Level 4 qualification in teaching and learning, and GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent. Experience in KS2 is essential.

• Experience working with children in Key Stage Two.
• Ability to lead whole classes independently under teacher direction.
• Proven commitment to inclusion and high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide PPA cover across Key Stage Two.
