Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Cradley Heath, West Midlands. Immediate start until July 2027, with a daily rate of £85–£102. This is an excellent hands-on step into teaching for a creative graduate.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support across lower KS2, assist with general classroom duties, and help pupils stay focused and confident. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to sustain routines and foster positive engagement

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
• Genuine interest in lower KS2 education and pupil development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain tasks clearly.
• A patient, proactive and encouraging approach in the classroom.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.

• KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant
• £85 - £102 per day

The Role:

As a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across lower KS2 through 1:1 guidance, small-group work and general classroom duties. You will help children understand tasks, stay focused during lessons and develop greater confidence in their learning. You will also work closely with the class teacher to support classroom routines and encourage positive engagement.
