Sheriff Hutton Primary School in York, North Yorkshire is seeking a 20-hour KS2 General Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract. The role is 9:00-12:30 Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9:00-15:30 on Fridays.

The successful candidate will support a pupil on a 1:1 basis, assist with lesson preparation and the learning environment in Lower KS2. The role requires some knowledge of working with children and KS2 curriculum, good communication, and a caring, flexible approach.

Formación

• Some knowledge and understanding of working with children.
• Some knowledge of the KS2 curriculum or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work autonomously under the direction of the teacher.
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure safety and well-being of pupils.

• Be willing to undertake appropriate training.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil in KS2.
• Assist with learning activities and resource preparation.
• Support during breaktimes and lunchtimes.
