Sheriff Hutton Primary School in York, North Yorkshire is seeking a 20-hour KS2 General Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract. The role is 9:00-12:30 Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9:00-15:30 on Fridays.

The successful candidate will support a pupil on a 1:1 basis, assist with lesson preparation and the learning environment in Lower KS2. The role requires some knowledge of working with children and KS2 curriculum, good communication, and a caring, flexible approach.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person for an KS2 GTA (20 hours) for a fixed term contract.

General Teaching Assistant role

Working hours: 9.00am to 12.30pm, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and all day (9.00am to 3.30pm) on Fridays.

Sheriff Hutton Primary School is a happy school with a strong sense of community and an enthusiastic team of staff, governors, parents and children. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and caring General Teaching Assistant (1:1) to support a child’s learning and help teachers in the preparation of activities and the learning environment. The role is required to work in our Lower Key Stage 2 class including some breaktime and lunchtime cover.
