Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Bradford. The role involves providing day-to-day classroom cover across KS3 and KS4, following teacher-created lesson plans and maintaining positive behaviour to keep students engaged.

The successful candidate will have KS3/KS4 experience, strong behaviour management, and the ability to adapt to different subjects. This is a contract position with immediate start and competitive daily pay, paid via PAYE.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Experience supervising classes or working within a secondary school environment
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence following and delivering lesson plans across different subjects
• The ability to engage and motivate students
• A flexible, confident and adaptable approach

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £95 - 110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Bradford who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides a supportive learning environment for students across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on maintaining positive behaviour and consistent learning across the curriculum.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor for day-to-day work with an Immediate Start. The successful Cover Supervisor will provide general classroom cover across a range of subjects, following lesson plans left by the class teacher while managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supervising classes or working within a secondary school environment
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence following and delivering lesson plans across different subjects
• The ability to engage and motivate students
• A flexible, confident and adaptable approach
