Pertemps Education Network is partnering with a primary school in South London to recruit an experienced SEN Teacher for a KS2 class in an ASD Resource Base.

You will lead a class of 10 boys in Years 5 and 6, adapt the mainstream curriculum using TEACCH structured teaching, and work with teaching assistants, the SENCO and parents to support autism-specific learning and social development. This long-term role offers potential permanent appointment.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching pupils with ASC in an ASD Resource Base or ARP.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and differentiating lessons.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver differentiated KS2 lessons within an ASD Resource Base.
• Apply TEACCH structured teaching to support engagement and independence.
• Establish routines and use visual supports to create a calm learning environment.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching to individual targets.
