Job summary

Connex Education are recruiting dedicated teaching assistants to support primary school students in Formby. Roles include full-time and part-time positions with opportunities for long-term 1:1 SEN support and temporary-to-perm pathways through our partner schools.

Ideal candidates will have experience in primary settings, DBS clearance, and a proactive, adaptable approach to varied year groups. Competitive PAYE pay and ongoing consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in primary schools is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to adapt to different learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Full-time general classroom support in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Split roles – cover in different year groups throughout the day.
• Long-term 1:1 support for children with special educational needs.
• Temp-to-perm roles – transition onto school contracts when schools request notice for staff.
• Part-time bookings – day-to-day cover for full days and half-days.
