Job summary

Redhill Academy Trust is appointing a KS1 Teaching and Learning Assistant for Hunloke Park Primary School. The role focuses on supporting Early Years education, promoting learning, development and wellbeing according to EYFS, and working with staff, families, and children. The position is casual and tied to school needs on site.

The applicant should have Level 3 TA status, EYFS experience, and safeguarding training, with a commitment to inclusive practice and teamwork. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children in an early years setting.
• SEN experience and safeguarding commitment.
• Understanding of EYFS framework and child development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality Early Years education by working with the EYFS team.
• Create a nurturing environment that supports learning, development and wellbeing.
• Provide targeted support for children with additional needs under SENCO guidance.
• Follow school procedures and contribute to safeguarding and welfare.
