Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an Infant and Nursery School in Quinton seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils across the curriculum. You will assist with class activities, run small group interventions and help children engage with learning.

The role offers both full-time and part-time hours, with pay between £95 and £110 per day, paid PAYE. A Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent and KS1 experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 TA or equivalent.
• Experience supporting KS1 pupils in primary settings.
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum and classroom routines.
• Ability to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups with confidence.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers with daily activities and learning tasks.
• Deliver targeted small group interventions to aid progress.
• Assist pupils 1:1 and in small groups to engage with the curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, flexible and supportive classroom environment.
