Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming primary school in King's Heath to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant for KS1. Location: Quinton. Start date: September 2026.

Salary: £95 - £110 per day. This full-time, long-term role focuses on supporting children with SEN and delivering tailored interventions. The successful candidate will have Level 2/3 TA qualification, experience with KS1 SEN, and strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly KS1
• Strong understanding of ASD/ADHD/SEMH
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach

Responsibilities

• Support children with a range of additional needs within KS1
• Deliver tailored interventions
• Keep pupils engaged and supported throughout the day
