About the role

KS1 Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

Gateshead, NE21

£440 – £460 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2025 – July 2026

The School and Role

Vision for Education is currently recruiting a motivated KS1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School in Gateshead (NE21). The KS1 Teaching Assistant appointed will be working across both Year 1 and Year 2, and the role will involve a mixture of 1:1, general and intervention support to a range of children, some with SEND. This vibrant primary school creates a welcoming atmosphere, and strives to give each child meaningful learning opportunities.

Requirements

The desired KS1 Teaching Assistant will have;
