Trainee Teaching Assistant (Temporary, Part-time/Full-time)

Location: Chester-le-Street, DH3

Salary: £88.92 – £92 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Vision For Education offers this opportunity to support passionate individuals entering the education sector. We work with client schools to provide successful Trainee Teaching Assistants with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.

After a successful interview and checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a school to develop your skills. We will help you identify your educational focus from EYFS, KS1, KS2 to secondary and SEND provision.

Before starting, you will complete a comprehensive training programme delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with essential skills for a Teaching Assistant role.

Teaching Assistants play a vital role in school operations. Effective Teaching Assistants possess excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting children's daily needs. They build relationships with staff, children, and families.

The specific duties vary by school. You might support classroom teaching, run small group interventions, or work one-on-one to meet individual needs.
