Job summary

Teach Now Limited in Harrow is seeking a warm KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils during early primary education. You will assist with literacy, numeracy, phonics and learning activities, helping the class teacher create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

This temporary, full-time role starts September 2026 and offers competitive pay of £90–£100 per day, with CPD opportunities, safeguarding procedures and a commitment to equality across schools in Harrow and wider London.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or educational setting.
• Understanding of KS1 learning and development.
• Phonics experience would be particularly valuable.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• A patient, enthusiastic and nurturing approach.

KS1 Teaching Assistant – Harrow Location: Harrow, London Pay: £90–£100 per day Contract: Full Time, Temporary Start Date: September 2026 Teach Now is looking for a warm, enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils during the important early stages of their primary education. Working within a primary school in Harrow, you will help children develop their early literacy, numeracy, communication and learning skills while supporting the class teacher in creating an engaging and positive classroom.
