A welcoming primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The successful KS1 Teaching Assistant will work across KS1, providing a combination of 1:1 and small-group support. The role may be predominantly focused on supporting one pupil at a time, helping them to access learning, develop their independence and engage positively within the classroom environment.The school is looking for someone with previous EYFS and SEN experience, particularly someone who has experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional learning or communication needs.You will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to provide consistent, individualised support. Your responsibilities may include supporting pupils with classroom activities, communication, social development, emotional regulation and independence.
