Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Bristol is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to support small group interventions and help children reach their learning targets.

You will work closely with the class teacher, manage behaviour calmly, and support children with additional needs. A DBS Update Service is preferred or willingness to obtain one; this is a full-time role starting in September.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school setting.
• SEN/ behaviour management experience or interest in developing skills.
• Team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff.

KS1 Teaching Assistant

We\'re working with a school in Bristol who are preparing for the new academic year and they\'re on the lookout for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to run small group intervetions.

If you enjoy helping children learn, build confidence and succeed, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your responsbilities will include:

• Delivering small group interventions
• Supporting children with their learning and development
• Assisting the class teacher to bring lessons to life
• Confidentlty managing behaviour
• Supporting children with additional needs

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a school setting
• Some experience with SEN/ behaviour management, or an interest in developing your skills
• A team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff
• A calm, patient and supporting approach to learning
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one
