Job summary

Academics Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic KS1 Teachers to work in our partner primary schools near Southampton, Hampshire. The role covers day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply, with flexibility for part-time or full-time hours.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, adapt delivery to meet pupil needs, and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment. A strong focus on safeguarding and policy adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching KS1/KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply placements.
• Teach pre-planned lessons and adapt delivery to pupils' needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable KS1 Teachers to work in our clients Primary School just outside of Southampton City Centre

Do you have the following?

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in KS1 / KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

Your day may include, but not subject to:
