Job summary

Academics is seeking enthusiastic KS1 teachers to support day-to-day and long-term supply roles in primary schools just outside Southampton city centre.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, have KS1/KS2 experience, and can deliver engaging lessons while maintaining a safe, well-managed classroom and supporting pupils’ progress across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• Recent KS1/KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply placements.
• Teach pre-planned lessons and adapt delivery to meet pupils' needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and adhere to safeguarding policies.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable KS1 Teachers to work in our clients Primary School just outside of Southampton City Centre

Do you have the following?

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in KS1 / KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

Your day may include, but not subject to:

• Delivering high-quality teaching across day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply placements
• Teaching pre-planned lessons and adapting delivery to meet pupils' needs
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Supporting pupils' academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing
• Working collaboratively with school staff and adhering to safeguarding and school policies
