Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking enthusiastic KS1 teachers to cover across primary schools in Torpoint and surrounding area. You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour, and assess pupil progress while adapting to different schools and year groups.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge across the KS1 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum following provided plans.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Assess and record pupil progress where required.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners.
• Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the wider school community.
