Job summary

Connex Education is seeking a passionate KS1 / Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team in Bridgwater. This is a temporary teaching opportunity with an immediate start, offering day-to-day supply or longer-term placements across local primary schools.

You will plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons, support pupils' academic, social and emotional development, and work with school staff to maintain high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing. A QTS and KS1 experience are essential.

Job Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching within KS1 / Key Stage 1 or a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 / Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Flexible, reliable, and confident adapting to different school environments.
