GSL Education are currently seeking a committed KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Boston. This is an amazing opportunity, available for an immediate start, offering an engaging teaching role within a well-resourced Key Stage 1 environment.

About the Role / Role Overview:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a creative, inclusive, and high-quality learning experience for pupils aged 5 to 7. You will play a central role in supporting pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and love for learning, in line with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that meet the needs of all learners in KS1.
  • Foster a positive, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform planning and teaching strategies.
  • Provide constructive feedback and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s educational journey.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and collaborative planning.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting.
  • Thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
  • Passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
