Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role in a KS1 classroom in Moseley. Start date October 2026. Salary £95 - £110 per day, paid PAYE with market-leading pay rates and ongoing CPD opportunities.

You will support children with SEN, help deliver tailored interventions, and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional needs (SEN) in KS1.
• Strong understanding of ASD, ADHD or SEMH.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN in a KS1 classroom.
• Deliver tailored interventions to individual pupils.
• Keep pupils engaged and supported throughout the school day.
