Job summary

Randstad Education in Leeds is recruiting adaptable KS2 Teaching Assistants to support Years 3–6 across local primary schools.

This supply role offers daily or block bookings with weekly pay, DBS support, and funded CPD to help you grow. Join a dedicated Randstad consultant who will match you with placements you’ll enjoy and feel valued.

You will contribute to engaging lessons, help pupils stay on track for SATs, and foster a positive learning environment in line with UK standards.

Qualifications

• Proven UK School Experience with Years 3–6 in a UK primary school setting is mandatory.
• Experience delivering targeted small-group catch-up sessions in Maths and English, and 1:1 support for pupils with SEN.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills with positive behaviour management aligned to UK classroom standards.
• An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and two professional, verifiable references.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 pupils (Years 3–6) across local Leeds primary schools.
• Deliver targeted small-group catch-up sessions and 1:1 SEN support.
• Assist with classroom activities and maintain positive behaviour in line with UK standards.
