Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a KS1 Primary Teacher for a permanent role in London (Wandsworth), starting January 2027. The position is full-time with salary on the MPS/UPS scale, dependent on experience.

You will plan and deliver KS1 lessons, support phonics and early literacy, and contribute to a positive classroom environment. Ideal candidates hold QTS, have KS1 experience (Year 1 or 2 preferred), and demonstrate strong classroom management and a nurturing teaching approach.

Qualifications

• QTS (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 1 or Year 2.
• Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
• Effective classroom management and nurturing teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to improving pupil outcomes.
