Overview

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 2 Primary Teacher for a Primary school near to Bridport DT6. The school is a one-form entry mainstream Primary School. The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

Contract/Position Details

• Location - DT6
• Position - Y2 Primary Teacher
• Type of work - Class Teacher (planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings, etc.)
• Contract or position start date - ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration - Academic Year
• Contract end date (if applicable) - July 2026
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - GBP 145 per day
• Hours - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
