Job summary

TeacherActive in South Gloucestershire seeks a Primary KS1 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and manage classrooms across Key Stage 1. The role supports pupils with SEND and involves day-to-day teaching within mainstream primary schools in South Gloucestershire.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have UK primary teaching experience, and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum with excellent classroom management and adaptability.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply).
• Primary teaching experience in the UK.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum across KS1.
• Excellent classroom management.
• An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and provide effective classroom management.
• Support pupils across KS1 with a range of needs, including SEND.
• Cover day-to-day teaching responsibilities in mainstream primary schools.
