Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Primary teachers to work in mainstream primary schools in South Gloucestershire. The role is for day-to-day cover from September, supporting pupils across KS1 with engaging lessons and strong classroom management.

QTS (ECTs welcomed) and UK primary teaching experience are required. Competitive daily rates (£145-£230) and CPD via My-Progression are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS with UK primary teaching experience
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Sound knowledge of KS1 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Adaptable and enthusiastic teaching approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1
• Maintain effective classroom management
• Adapt teaching to support pupils with SEND
• Contribute to day-to-day cover in mainstream primary schools
