Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a confident KS1 Classroom Teacher for a short-term role in Middlesbrough, starting ASAP. You will cover across KS1, deliver engaging lessons and uphold high behaviour and learning standards in a mainstream primary school.

You should hold QTS (ECTs welcome), have solid KS1 experience and a strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Salary: £125 - £150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough looking for a confident and adaptable KS1 Teacher. The school is seeking a versatile teacher who can provide effective classroom cover across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and create a positive learning environment for pupils.

The school is looking to take on a KS1 Teacher on a short-term basis, starting ASAP. The successful KS1 Teacher will provide versatile classroom cover across KS1, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning, and adapting effectively to the needs of different classes.

The successful KS1 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, adaptable and positive approach
