Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough to recruit a confident KS1 Classroom Teacher for a short-term assignment starting ASAP. You will cover across KS1, deliver engaging lessons and maintain high behaviour and learning expectations.

The ideal candidate holds QTS (ECTs welcomed), has KS1 experience and a solid understanding of the Primary Curriculum, with strong classroom management and clear communication.

Salary: £125 - £150 per day

The school is seeking a versatile teacher who can provide effective classroom cover across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and create a positive learning environment for pupils.

The school is looking to take on a KS1 Teacher on a short-term basis, starting ASAP. The successful KS1 Teacher will provide versatile classroom cover across KS1, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning, and adapting effectively to the needs of different classes.

The successful KS1 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, adaptable and positive approach
