Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Brierfield, Lancashire from September 2026. The role is full-time and permanent on the Main Pay Scale (M1-M6).

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have a secure KS1 curriculum understanding and a commitment to high-quality learning experiences, with ECTs welcome to apply.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Brierfield from September 2026.

The Role

As a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that inspire young learners.
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum aligned to Key Stage 1 expectations.
  • Assess pupil progress effectively and use this information to inform teaching.
  • Foster positive behaviour and high expectations for learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
