Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Bristol to support pupils across KS1 and help create an engaging classroom environment.

The role involves working alongside class teachers, promoting positive behaviour and providing day-to-day learning support. Start date ASAP, £14.25-£15.50 per hour, PAYE, with CPD opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Adaptability and excellent classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and explain tasks as directed by teachers.
• Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to an engaging classroom environment.
