Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a KS1 Teacher for a well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in West Ealing. The position runs from October 2026 through July 2027, with a potential extension.

You will teach KS1, plan and deliver lessons across the National Curriculum, support reading, writing and maths, and deliver phonics teaching. Inner London M1-UPS3 pay scale with progression based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Holds UK QTS and KS1 teaching experience.
• Strong phonics knowledge and ability to teach early reading.
• Excellent classroom management and high expectations for pupil progress.
• Able to work collaboratively with KS1 colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach within KS1 from October 2026.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the National Curriculum.
• Support pupils' progress in reading, writing and mathematics.
• Deliver effective phonics teaching and support early reading development.
• Use assessment to identify next steps and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Work closely with colleagues across the phase and build positive relationships with pupils and families.
