Job summary

West Walton Community Primary School in Wisbech is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Year 1 Class Teacher to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.

The role is temporary until July 2027, with start date January 2027 or ASAP. You will deliver engaging lessons, plan and assess progress, and work with staff, parents and the wider school community.

Salary is MPS/UPS depending on experience, and the post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher with KS1 experience or strong ECTs welcome.
  • High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Excellent classroom practice and subject knowledge.
