Job summary

Thriplow CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join its supportive team and deliver high-quality teaching across the school. The role is within the Grace Schools network, emphasizing a knowledge-rich curriculum and safeguarding of pupils.

The post is on mainscale with part-time 40% (Thursday & Friday) hours and is permanent, offering career development within a trusted multi-academy framework.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status is required.
  • Experience as a class teacher in a primary school.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the class(es) you are assigned to teach within the context of the academy's knowledge-rich curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, record and report on learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils, planning and adapting your practice to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working with staff, parents and other agencies in line with Grace Schools Principles of Education.
  • Be an excellent role model - exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectation for all members of the school community.
  • Maintaining the highest expectations for all children.

Key responsibilities:
  • Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the class(es) you are assigned to teach within the context of the academy's knowledge-rich curriculum

Pay, Hours and Contract:
  • Mainscale - M1-M4
  • 40% per week - Thursday & Friday
