Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Experience as a class teacher in a primary school.
• Alignment to Grace Schools Principles of Education.
• Knowledge of strategies to support learning and progress with evidence of impact.
• Strong teaching and learning practices.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues, parents and the community.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the class(es) you are assigned to teach within the context of the academy's knowledge-rich curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, record and report on learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils, planning and adapting your practice to ensure the best outcomes.
• Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working with staff, parents and other agencies in line with Grace Schools Principles of Education.
• Be an excellent role model - exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectation for all members of the school community.
• Maintaining the highest expectations for all children.
