Job summary

Farmilo Primary School, recently joined the Redhill Academy Trust, is seeking a KS1 Class Teacher for maternity cover starting 01 January 2027. The successful candidate will join a supportive team dedicated to helping every child reach their potential.

The role includes ensuring high-quality teaching, delivering phonics in Y1, tracking progress and engaging in Trust CPD through the Redhill Teaching Hub, with safeguarding and DBS checks completed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to engage, inspire and motivate all children.
• Proven track record of good or better progress in a primary setting.
• Knowledge to teach phonics effectively and secure good Y1 outcomes.
• Excellent behaviour management and positive classroom climate.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality CPD.
