Job summary

DAC Beachcroft in Leeds is seeking a Knowledge Prompt Analyst to join the Knowledge and Information Services team. You will translate AI capability into practical, measurable outcomes, working with Knowledge Lawyers and Business Technology to support confident, responsible use of approved AI tools across the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience using generative AI tools and creating effective prompts.
• Either a Law degree, GDL, LPC (or equivalent legal qualification), or previous experience working within a law firm.
• Strong research, information gathering and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive initiative and clear explanation of complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Drive the practical adoption of approved AI tools by working with teams and projects across the firm.
• Design, develop and refine prompts to support business and legal workflows.
• Act as a trusted adviser on the use of generative AI tools.
• Provide guidance and respond to queries, helping colleagues build confidence.
• Deliver training sessions, workshops and support materials for effective AI usage.
• Coordinate and continually improve a central repository of prompts and use cases.
• Support rollout of AI initiatives with governance and best practice alignment.
• Work with Knowledge and Technology teams to identify AI-driven improvements.
• Share successful use cases demonstrating measurable business value.
• Champion responsible, ethical AI use within a regulated professional services environment.

We are looking for a Knowledge Prompt Analyst to join our Knowledge and Information Services team and play a key role in advancing the firm's strategic use of Artificial Intelligence.

Working closely with Knowledge Lawyers, Business Technology teams and colleagues across the business, you will help translate AI capability into practical, measurable outcomes. • Coordinate, maintain and continually improve a central repository of prompts, use cases and user guidance
• Support the rollout of AI initiatives across the firm, ensuring alignment with governance and best practice standards
• Work alongside Knowledge and Technology teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements
• Help curate and share successful use cases that demonstrate measurable business value
• Champion the responsible, ethical and effective use of AI within a regulated professional services environment

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate a combination of legal understanding, analytical thinking and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies.

Essential

• Experience using generative AI tools and creating effective prompts
• Either a Law degree, GDL, LPC (or equivalent legal qualification), or previous experience working within a law firm
