Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced property lawyer to transition into a Knowledge Lawyer role within a leading UK law firm. The role spans across real estate, development and planning teams, focusing on innovation, legal technology and AI.

You will train, advise on developments, and collaborate across groups to enhance the practice and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in real estate, property development or planning with at least 5 years PQE.
• Demonstrated interest in legal technology, AI and innovation.
• Experience delivering training or coaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, with ability to build internal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with key developments in real estate law.
• Develop and deliver training to support technical excellence.
• Identify regulatory, legal and commercial risks.
• Collaborate with Innovation and Legal Technology teams to advance AI use.
• Act as a key contact for Real Estate-related technology.
• Contribute to tenders and business development.

Job description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer to move into a Knowledge Lawyer role within a leading UK law firm. This is a broad and strategic position, working closely with the wider Real Estate group to support technical excellence and development of the practice, in addition this role has a strong focus on innovation, legal technology and AI.

The role:

Will be to work across property teams including real estate, development and planning and responsibilities will include:

• Providing up to date with key practical legal developments.
• Developing and delivering training to support technical excellence
• Identifying areas of legal, regulatory and commercial risk
• Working closely with the Innovation and Legal Technology teams to encourage the effective use of AI and other legal technology
• Acting as a key point of contact for Real Estate-related technology
• Contributing to tenders and business development

What experience is required:

• Qualified Solicitor in either real estate, property development or planning at least 5 years post qualification
• A genuine interest in legal technology, innovation and the developing use of AI
• Experience of delivering training and/ or coaching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach and ability to build strong internal relationships
