Job summary

Kimal is seeking a Production Stores Operative to join our on-site team in Worcestershire. The role involves accurately picking parts, preparing production kits, labeling and packaging, and ensuring traceability across stock.

You will support inventory checks and cycle counts while maintaining a clean stores area and adhering to health and safety procedures. Ideal candidates will have previous kitting or warehouse experience, good numerical and literacy skills, and the ability to operate stock

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a kitting, stores, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use stock management systems.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A good level of numeracy, literacy and co-ordination.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Proud member of the Disability Confident employer scheme.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick parts and materials according to production orders and bill of materials.
• Prepare kits for production in line with scheduled demand.
• Ensure correct labelling, packaging, and traceability of all components.
• Carry out inventory checks and report stock discrepancies.
• Support cycle counts and stock rotation activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitting and stores area.
• Always follow company health & safety and quality procedures.
