Job summary

ZendGroup in Kent is seeking a detail-focused Kitting Administrator to support our warehouse team. You’ll help prepare kitting jobs, check stock and documentation, update systems and keep work moving smoothly from start to finish.

This is primarily an administrative role in the warehouse with occasional hands-on support on the kitting line. Training will be provided, and you’ll report to the Kitting Supervisor as part of a driven operations team.

Qualifications

• Strong focus on accuracy and record-keeping.
• Good numeracy and data-entry skills.
• Ability to stay organised and manage changing priorities.
• Clear communication with team and supervisor.
• Experience in kitting, stock control or warehouse systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily kitting jobs, highlighting urgent priorities to the supervisor.
• Check components, quantities, batch numbers and dates against instructions; report shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate BOMs and prepare missing info for supervisor approval.
• Create and check barcodes, labels and paperwork; run a sample kit before production.
• Start and update jobs in Zendbox systems with accurate quantities, staffing and timings.
• Keep records, line plans and cost-per-unit information up to date.
