Job summary

Whitbread PLC's Premier Inn in Torquay is seeking a Kitchen Team Member. You’ll support breakfast and dinner service, prepare ingredients, plate meals and keep the kitchen clean and stocked. The role involves evenings, weekends and busy guest periods in a fixed-term contract.

This is a team-based position with guaranteed hours and full training; all you need is reliability, a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn on the job.

Qualifications

• You’ll need to work well in a team and be reliable.
• Willingness to learn the ropes and adapt to busy shifts.
• No hotel experience required but a positive attitude helps.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right
